The St Kateri Music Ministry will be providing the meals for Hillcrest House on Saturday, April 17, 2021. As a result of this pandemic, we are not serving hot food. Rather, volunteers are needed to make individual sandwiches for up to 100 people and put in individual lunch bags with a snack and dessert. The brown bags will be brought to the shelter. We can also use cases of individual water bottles for the shelter.
Please consider helping out by preparing a sandwich, including dessert and snack for the adults at Hillcrest House; or providing a case of water. The meals are to be put in a bag and labeled with its contents and brought to St. Kateri (in front of parish office building) between 2:30 and 2:45pm on April 17, 2021 to be loaded into cars.
My dear Parish Family,
My love, service and prayers to all to be safe and healthy. It is already the second week we are not able to gather as parish family to celebrate the Holy Eucharist. I offer every day Holy Eucharist united with you. God will help us. But I miss you. I have been trying to communicate with you through flock note and parish email system. So far I am not able to reach out to the Parish Faith Formation children, families and Catechists directly through the faith formation email system. I have forwarded my prayers for you and any important information from the Archdiocese to Deacon John McCormack and Diane McCoach to pass on to you. I am in touch with the Archdiocese and forward all information I receive through these means. I wish we could telecast the Mass from our Church. At present we can't. But already you have been informed of all available sources to view the Mass at home. Keep up with them and share them with all in your family and friend circles. I am here for you. I keep our Church open from 8 am to 8 pm for personal prayer and during our regular Mass times I keep the Blessed Sacrament exposed. Do not hesitate to approach me for any need. Let us sustain one another with faith, hope and love.
Fr. Pancrose
Do you miss being in the company of Jesus?
Please be aware that churches are open during the day and the Blessed Sacrament is present to allow us to be in the Presence of Jesus as we pray.

MASSES CANCELED IN ARCHDIOCESE OF NEW YORK
In light of the continued concern surrounding the coronavirus, and the advice of medical experts, all Masses in the Archdiocese of New York will be canceled beginning March 14-15, 2020.
This development follows upon today's decision of Dutchess County to prohibit gatherings of more than 20 people. It is also intended to provide clarity and consistency throughout the ten counties that comprise the Archdiocese of New York (Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Dutchess).
Churches will, however, remain open for private prayer.
Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, urged the faithful to remember in their prayers all those whose lives have been impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. "Let us pray for all who are sick, as well as doctors, nurses, caregivers, and all those working hard to combat the disease. We should also remember those whose lives have been otherwise disrupted, especially anyone who has lost income from a loss of work during this time."
Daily Mass will be celebrated in Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and will be available on many cable systems via the Catholic Faith Network and its website here, livestreamed on the Saint Patrick's Cathedral website here, and broadcast on radio on The Catholic Channel of Sirius XM (Channel 129).
Come and listen to the sounds of Christmas! Our annual Christmas Concert is on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2pm. Refreshments will follow the concert in the meeting room.

JOIN THE CHOIR!
Choir rehearsals for our new season begin on Wednesday, September 25th in the church. A love of praising God in song and a musical voice are the only requirements. Our Youth Choir rehearsals are from 6pm to 7pm in the church. Adult Choir rehearsals begin at 7:30pm.
The Saint Kateri Youth Choir will be participating in the American Federation Pueri Cantores 2019 Choral Festival and Mass. It will be held on March 23, 2019 at St. John Nepomucene in NYC.
Pueri Cantores is the national student choral organization
of the Catholic Church, inviting all parish and school treble
choirs in the Archdiocese of New York and neighboring
dioceses to participate in this Festival and Mass for singers
in grades 4-8.
Singers join together as one combined choir to sing a liturgical
music repertoire spanning 1500 years -- from Gregorian chant to
music of the twenty-first century.
